WDIV Detroit: April 8, 1984: Tigers '84, Sparky & Al

Originally aired on Sunday afternoon, April 8, 1984. WDIV is the NBC affiliate in Detroit, Michigan and at the time, carried Detroit Tiger baseball. One of the staples of their coverage was the pregame show, the opening minutes shown here. After two local commercials for Waterbed Gallery and News 4, coverage begins with the famous roaring Tiger. Eli Zaret sets the stage with the voiceover and immediately review's the no-hitter pitched by Jack Morris the previous day. Coverage skips ahead to an interview of Morris conducted by Hall of Fame broadcasters George Kell and Al Kaline. Kell and Kaline also pull a trivia question to be answered during the broadcast (remember that)? Sorry, this is all that I have.
