Yoan was preparing for grass court tournaments so they worked on attacking the short ball and also defending against a player who attacks the net. Playing tennis points in different scenarios is one of the best way to improve a certain area of your game within points. As good as basket and rallying drills are, they are not always relevant to a tennis point, sure you might improve your backhand crosscourt but it's important to then work on that same stroke in a point situation so it translates into your match play.
