Great display of skills, power, and both defense and offense against the slickness of Monroe Jr, who put on a brave and valiant effort against one of the hardest hitters of this era. Was planning to make this video sooner but had some issues with it, thus the delay. I will also do highlights of other Golovkin fights later on as well. This is in anticipation of his fight with David Lemieux this weekend! Enjoy it boxing fans, and any feedback is most welcome. Please view, rate, comment and subscribe! Muchos gracias!
This is David Lemieux vs. Gary O'Sullivan Today Boxing Fight Match Highlights my new video:-
Lemieux is not that skilled in any way, he is heavy footed, I don't think he is even a great puncher in terms of timing and accuracy, but he hits so hard, is such a dangerous puncher, that he has achieved at a high level. Lemieux beat Rosado, beat N'Dam, beat Stevens, and in all these fights, he was not the better boxer, but he simply counted that out against Stevens, knocked him out cold, and whenever he landed on N'Dam's chin, down he went. I don't think Lemieux has ever been the same since the Golovkin loss, he is still only about 30 I believe, so more than damage, and unavoidable decline, it is probably more Golovkin beating his dedication out of him, mentally taking something away from him. Lemieux was very well beaten against Saunders, he might have lost every round, he was absolutely outclassed, given a boxing lesson, and beaten up a bit, which won't have helped him as a fighter, he has had a fight since then, beat Karim Achour, but world level wise, doesn't mean much, and Lemieux missed the weight for that fight, with his height, and the amount of weight he seems to carry, I don't think he simply can't make 160, and the fact that he has taken this fight at 160, suggests he isn't a super middleweight.
O'Sullivan is a tough fighter, good fighter, on a winning streak, but against Saunders and Eubank Jr, he lost, got beaten by a landslide against Saunders, battered against Eubank, serious ear injury, and his corner pulled him out. O'Sullivan got a good win over Antoine Douglas on the Saunders vs Lemieux undercard, and he does have a few decent wins, at a certain level, but he isn't world level, O'Sullivan, his losses have proven that.
O'Sullivan can punch, but he doesn't have the power Lemieux has, that's for sure. I think O'Sullivan has a better chin than Lemieux, Lemieux was stopped against Rubio, and he did feel the power of Saunders, seemed physically quite vulnerable at times, but O'Sullivan has a good chin, we saw that against Eubank. At world level, neither of these guys are good technical fighters O'Sullivan is on better form even though he is a few years the older fighter he can give it and take it better than Lemieux can really fight but Lemieux power is incredible and I just think in terms of who they have beaten the level they have competed at Lemieux just has the better experience.
